Variable Ambience Drums is a professional, yet easy to use, Drum sample library for Kontakt and Battery. Easy, One-click Setup:
Simply load a VA Drums kit into Kontakt 2 and you instantly have full control over the ambient drum sound using the Microphone Control Mixer, shown above.
Each kit is also supplied with the Expert Control Mixer (below), which offers control over both Direct and Ambient Microphones. You can now start playing with a great drum sound, straight out of the box - no complicated setups!

Natural, Expressive Drum Articulations:
Each of the 7 Snare drums included in the collection is constructed from 64 separate 24 Bit samples. You can program your snare using 6 articulations - Centre, Stick, Middle, Edge, Rim shot and roll. The Hi-hats (using 72 24-bit samples per Hat) have 6 articulations, including 5 degrees of openness. This gives a humanised drum sound, with no repetitive 'Machine Gun' hits.
KSP Drum Roll Tool:
This exciting new processor allows you to play extremely natural rolls into your drum tracks. Each Kit has a Snare Roll key, which triggers randomised snare hits in either 64th, 32nd, or 16th note patterns. The Mod-Wheel controls the speed, velocity and tuning of the roll, and can also increase the randomness of these parameters.
