VA Drums includes 2 versions of a full Brush Kit. One with a really Jazzy 18inch kick drum, the other with a more conventional 22" Kick. All the drums have been recorded with Brushes, from snares, scrapes, rolls and flams through to brushed toms, tom rolls and rides and ride rolls. The Anechoic Kit:
This being Soniccouture, you don't just get some stunning natrual Drum Kits; You also get the truly strange and Avant-Garde Anechoic Drum Kit. Recorded in an Anechoic chamber (a treated, dead room with no relections at all) with one B&K 4006 microphone, this is a great experiment in audio purity. This Kit is ideal for use with convolution reverb since there is no room signal on the samples. In the Kontakt 2 version of the Kit, the convolution processor provides the reverb, or it's also ideal with Space Designer, IR1, Altiverb etc.
